Carleton Varney, one of America's best known interior designers, is the president/owner of Dorothy Draper & Co. Inc., in New York City. It is one of the oldest established interior design firms in the United States and is named after the founder of the company, Dorothy Draper.
Dorothy was one of the doyennes of interior design in the United States from the 1920s to the 1960s. The Varney design philosophy stresses "the use of bright colors and the rejection of all that is impractical, uncomfortable and drab." By embracing this practice, he continues the tradition of Dorothy Draper: being associated with the imaginative use of vibrant colors, floral patterns and bold contrasts.
His latest book, Mr. Color, features his current undertakings of wonderful, colorful design.

Inheriting her mother's passion for antiques and collectibles, Cari Cucksey began buying, selling and trading when she was 12 years old. Today, as a professional estate liquidator, she is always on the lookout for hidden treasure and travels far and wide in search of anything she can flip and restore.
Based near Detroit, Cari is the owner and operator of RePurpose Estate Services. With her team, Cari sets up estate sales on her clients premises, unearths everything of value, and commits to making as much money for them as possible.
Cari's warehouse features antiques, consignment items and fabulous finds, including designer and vitage clothing and accessories. "You never know what you're going to find," says Cari. "Whether it's memorabilia, collectibles, hidden treasure or just junk—everything was once worth something to somebody, and it can be again." Cari is the star and host of HGTV's "Cash and Cari."
