Types of Donations
Methodist Health Foundation welcomes individual, organizational and corporate support to further the mission of IU Health Methodist Hospital. A gift enhancing patient care at IU Health Methodist can make a difference in the health of our community for generations to come.
The gift may be targeted to a particular hospital department or service that has had a positive effect on the donor’s life. Gifts can be made in the form of cash, real estate, appreciated securities or as a planned gift, such as an estate gift.
Unrestricted Gifts
Unrestricted gifts for IU Health Methodist Hospital allow us to meet the areas of greatest pressing need for equipment and facilities. Medical science evolves quickly and unrestricted gifts allow Methodist Health Foundation to respond quickly to those needs.
Restricted Gifts
Gifts that allow the donor to specify the use of funds for a specific area of care.
Memorial/Tribute Gifts
These gifts memorialize or pay tribute to a person or persons who have played a vital role in the donor’s life or in the life of the community.
Matching Gifts
Many employers offer matching gift programs that can augment and, for some, even double the amount – and the impact – of a gift to IU Health Methodist Hospital. Ask if your employer offers a matching gift program or suggest they consider starting one.
