The mission of Methodist Health Foundation is to provide charitable support to Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in central Indiana. Because of generous donors, grateful patients and friends of the hospital, the Foundation administers nearly 500 funds that benefit hospital programs and the work of physicians, nurses and allied health professionals in their pursuit of preeminent patient care.
In the spring I announced that I was assuming the role of Chief Philanthropy Officer for IU Health. I am pleased to introduce Kevin Armstrong as the incoming president of Methodist Health Foundation. Kevin is currently senior pastor for North United Methodist Church. He has been a member of Methodist Health Foundation’s Board of Directors since 2008.
The qualities of leadership, understanding of relationships and the ability to bring transformational change to an ever-challenging environment, led us to Kevin. He possesses extensive experience in strategic planning, leadership development and community engagement. Kevin has also led multi-million dollar capital campaigns, written successful multi-million dollar grants, and adjudicated grants for Lilly Endowment and The Louisville Institute.
Please welcome Kevin as he and the Foundation staff continue to advance the mission of providing charitable support to the hospital, and facilitate relationships with donors who understand the need for philanthropy and have the generosity to sustain it.
